Once this is completed, you should encourage your client to take the list that they originally composed, and cut it in half. This means that they should take at least half of the initial possibilities from the list. Once they have accomplished this, you should encourage them to research companies that host these particular career choices. Once the companies have been identified, the individuals should then make arrangements with that company to interview someone that has this particular career. This interview will help your client determine if this particular job is the right career choice for them.

Once all of the interviews from the second list have been researched, and information interviews have been conducted, it is important to choose one occupation. You must be encouraging and supportive during this time. Making a decision this important can prove to be extremely difficult and challenging to the client that you are assisting. A lot weighs on the choice. It is imperative that you, as the professional career coach, are with the client at all times and supporting them in every single way possible!

Once the client has made the choice on the right career choice for them, it is important to ensure that you work closely with them and encourage them to set their career goals. These goals will include acquiring the education that is necessary to pursue the career choice that has been made, gathering up the funding that will be required for tuition, and many other goals. These are the goals that will be necessary for the individual to get started in the particular career that they have chosen. This is one of the most important aspects of the career.
